Job Description For Develo Remote Jobs USA 2024

Develo is hiring an experienced Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support our outbound sales initiatives. Reporting directly to both an Account Executive and the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our sales strategy and driving adoption of Develo’s modern EMR in a dynamic startup environment.

As the inaugural SDR, you must thrive in environments characterized by rapid change, and possess a high level of self-sufficiency, particularly in cold calling and cold prospecting. You will be provided with a comprehensive sales playbook to guide your efforts, supplemented by mentorship from both an Account Executive and the CEO. Prior experience in US healthcare and B2B SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) would be highly valued.

This role offers a distinctive opportunity for an experienced professional to immerse themselves in the intricacies of complex sales, delve into the burgeoning field of health-tech, and directly contribute to improving pediatric care in the United States.

  • Articulate the unique value proposition of Develo’s EMR to prospective customers through multiple channels, with a strong emphasis on cold calling.
  • Develop and execute effective outreach strategies to engage with potential leads, including leveraging webinars and conferences to drive interest.
  • Utilize internal and external resources to identify and generate new leads, while meticulously tracking all interactions and progress in HubSpot.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives and the CEO to assess the effectiveness of outreach strategies and refine approaches as needed.
  • Establish initial relationships with prospects to qualify opportunities and seamlessly transition them to the Account Executive team for further engagement.


  • 1+ years of professional sales experience
  • Proficiency in cold calling techniques and comfortable making outbound calls, with strong verbal communication skills to maintain a polished and professional demeanor
  • Experience working in B2B SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) sales
  • Strong written communication skills, particularly in crafting compelling and professional emails
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Works effectively both independently and collaboratively, and receptive to coaching and feedback
  • Experience working in a dynamic startup environment
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with evolving processes
  • Flexibility to travel in the United States for conferences a few times a year
